| Itchy, miserable dry skin. Eczema (atopic dermatitis) is a chronic skin condition that usually appears on the scalp, face, neck, or creases of the elbows, wrists and knees. The symptoms are small blisters and crusty scales on the skin surface, often accompanied by inflammation. The only known cure for eczema is prevention. For instance, sulfates, parabens and artificial fragrances have been known to trigger eczema. All three of these chemicals are found in commercial soaps, including Dove and Ivory soap. Our cold-process method of natural soap making produces an ultra-mild, moisturizing bar soap. Unlike most mass-produced commercial detergent bars that may dry out your skin further, all of our 100% natural, handmade soaps are enriched with skin loving luxury oils such as avocado and/or shea butter; making them a great choice for people with eczema prone skin. Note: Avoiding harsh soaps and soaps with synthetic ingredients, detergents and solvents may help to reduce the frequency and severity of eczema flare-ups. |  |
